On September 28th we hosted a booth at Open Streets Boise.  We collected over 201 signatures!  Everyone we spoke with (with I believe a single exception) said they value libraries and wanted to sign our petition to address the library desert in West Boise.  It’s great to see how important literacy and services provided by libraries are to members of our community.

It was fun to be close to the “Pink Pedal Club” too — a booth set up by City Council Member Jimmy Hallyburton and a founder of the Boise Bicycle Project.  The bike there was utilized as a human powered generator for music — I was afraid I would never get the “Pink Pony Club” song out of my head, but I did.
